Water drops

The water drops on the paper sheet in a paper machine can be caused by various factors. One common cause is improper functioning of the showers in the headbox, breast roll, couch, and dandy roll. These showers are designed to evenly distribute water onto the paper sheet, but if they are not operating properly, water drops may form.

Another possible cause is a problem with the machine room ventilation system. If there are areas in the machine room, such as hoods, catwalks, or ceilings, where water droplets can originate, it indicates a ventilation issue. Proper ventilation is essential in a paper machine to maintain the right humidity levels and prevent condensation, which can lead to water drops on the paper sheet.

To resolve this issue, it is important to ensure that the showers in the machine are functioning correctly. Regular maintenance and inspections should be carried out to identify any problems and make necessary repairs or adjustments. Additionally, the machine room ventilation system should be checked and maintained to ensure proper airflow and humidity control. This may involve cleaning or replacing filters, checking ducts and vents for blockages, and adjusting settings as needed.

By addressing these issues, the occurrence of water drops on the paper sheet can be minimized, leading to improved paper quality and production efficiency.
